Google has unveiled its new tool searchwiki which will make personalised searches. You can add or remove search results, reorder search results etc. I still can’t figure out how much this is going to influence people though.
One feature which might be useful is that It allows users to add their own comments which can be accessed by others.
Finally the wait is over and blackberry storm has hit the market.. Only time will tell whether it will create a storm in the consumer market . On first look, it seems to be another masterpiece from RIM ( Research in Motion, company behind blackberry phones).
Considered to be a serious competitor for Iphone, it surely lives up to the name. Touch screen interface is fairly easy to use and the force feedback is quite handy while typing messages on the touchscreen keyboard.
It has got a high resolution 480 X 360 color display with a light sensing screen and supports several media formats like MPEG4 H.263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, H.264, WMV, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA and WMA ProPlus. It is slightly heavier (155g) but has several features like ‘surepress’ touch screen, bluetooth and quite loud speakerphone. Screen is wide enough to watch movies in good resolution and battery lasts for 5.5 hours (talk time), while standy battery time is 15 days (impressive isn’t it).
It has got 1GB onboard memory enough to store all your favourite songs but not good enough to store all those lengthy movies. For that you will need microSD card. Microsoft exchange is also supported so no need to worry about the emails from work…
